Curriculum at a Glance

In second grade, students build a spiritual foundation by making their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. During this year, students also participate in the planning of Mass for the first time. The second grade year builds a strong academic foundation through small, leveled groups during guided reading and places a strong emphasis in math on regrouping, time, money, and mastery of facts.
