Fifth Grade

Curriculum at a Glance

Individuality, accountability, and self-motivation are the qualities instilled in our upper elementary students. The fifth grade students participate in the Poland Township Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program and are encouraged to partake in beginning band. Greater expectations are placed upon the fifth graders as they prepare for the middle school years.  Students participate in many hands-on and group-centered activities.
